College Select Baseball Showcases

Showcase Spotlight on the best high school baseball talent showcases

College Select is one of the best regional showcases available to the high school player. While it has a decided �Northeast� flavor more and more college coaches from the south are making the trip to attend each year.

For the high school player from the northeast and eastern Atlantic seaboard or the player from another region of the country that is interested in attending a college in the northeast this is THE showcase event to attend.

There are very few showcase directors that work as hard for their �players� as Tom Rizzi does for attendees of his showcases.

Showcases are held each year in Norwich, Connecticut and Bingham, New York, as well as other locations.

Here is what the College Select events offer the player.

Three Games for each team

Pro Camp Skill Drills

Times from home to first

Wood Bat Batting Practice [bats provided by Mizuno]

Detailed Written Evaluation for each player

Play in front of college coaches and pro scouts in a minor league stadium
(see locations being used)

Information sent to coaches around the country

Teams consist of 15 players maximum

No more than 8 teams (only 120 players accepted per event)

Each player, coach & scout receives a copy of the Showcase brochure

Letters of recommendation sent to up to five colleges of agreed upon choices

Great Exposure - including your player profile listed here

Year round toll free College Select hot line to assist you

Superior coaching and advice on the field and off during each showcase

The opportunity to be selected to be part of the College Select Teams that take part in additional showcase tournaments

Cost

Fee is $225/each showcase

Transportation food and lodging costs are not included

Fall Showcase Team
Players at all showcases and our "Classic Showcase Tournament" have the opportunity to be selected to play in select fall showcase tournaments with the College Select team.

Fall Showcase Tournament
College Select also hosts their own Classic Showcase Tournament in conjunction with Super East Baseball. The "Classic Showcase Tournament" will be held August 22nd thru 25th in Hartford, Connecticut. The tournament will consist of tow 7 team pools. Cost is $550.00 per team. All players must be 2003 graduates or later.
