i do and i was wondering if you guys could tell me any pitches in particular i should stay away from..or if i should try a little of everything

I throw sidearm, Have since I was a kid. I have had no arm trouble, and am actually sore far less than other pitchers on my team.

As for pitches, I throw a two-seam sinking fastball, a four-seamer, a circl-change, and a sluvish type pitch. By throwing sidearm, you prevent yourself from getting a lot of 12-6 breaking pitches. My advice is this, don't get too carried away with extra breaking pitches. As a sidearmer, pitches tend to have more movement on them when throw naturally from that armslot anyway

I am a RHP. I throw sidearm on occation. I throw over the top and get a good sink on my 4 seam fastball. When i drop down i get good movement that backs down and in on right handed batters. I would tell people to stay away from throwing sidearm to often, because the pitch is more flat than when u throw over the top.

I would argue your comment on it being more flat. I don't even think I can throw a flat pitch if I try.
But some people are different and have different armslots. Since you say you throw mostly overhand then that is your natural armmovement, thus you might not have as good of movement on the ball throwing with a different release point.
