Related topic - RPI. The BA ratings are based on conference RPIs.

The accompanying article to the conference ratings is a survey of college coaches about the RPI. Seems that most coaches don't like how the RPI is calculated. Most believe that the RPI favors teams & conferences in the south. Coaches in the west & north had the strongest negative opinions.
