It's now mid-October and summer league placements should begin getting together now probably. Why don't we have some of you list where your son(s) or you will be playing this summer? Perhaps we can have some HSBBWebsters meet up in these locations and whatnot...

Son just mailed his contract to the Green Bay Bullfrogs of the Northwoods League. He'll be with several of his college teammates. Several of these kids played there last year and had a great time. Son is very excited, even when I reminded him of long bus rides and rain!
2 of the host families from Green Bay have come out to the west coast to see their "adopted sons" play. Very nice people and he's looking forward to being there this summer. Any posters in that area I would love to make contact with.

My guy had a great time with the Fayetteville Swampdogs last year and is looking forward to another summer up there, he committed before he left at the end of the season. Skip Handlesman is awesome and the community support is amazing! My wife and I got up there for a few games last year and had a great time!

I believe my son Mike is headed to the Staunton Va in the Valley League.
My son Joe played his 3 summers Glens Falls (NYCBL), Chatham (CAPE) and Forest City (Coastal Plains). Forest City finished the summer of 09' as the top ranked summer team in the country by Perfect Game and Baseball America. What a summer..

Son was placed on the Herndon Braves in the Cal Ripken Sr. League. He's a freshman so we're new to this. How is the quality of play in this league? Any feedback is appreciated.

Coach Merc - Was hoping to see a repeat with a Merc in the Forest City lineup for next year.....you know he'd already have a great home and a built in little brother. Good luck to him wherever he plays.

JY, we were hoping he could go to Forest City also but couldn't make the connection. I just had "little brother" on team in Jupiter. We had a great time with him.

It sounds like many of us will cross paths this coming summer. My son a RS Freshman will be playing for the Outer Banks Daredevils in the CPL. Hope I can meet up with some of you this summer and I will enjoy watching your sons play.
