Good start for AJ at Lancaster. Pitched 6 innings, 1 run, 7 k's, no decision.

BBMom, How far is Lancaster from you? Even though it's not AA he'll be there soon if he keeps
pitching like that. At least you should be able to see quite a few games.

FBM, missed this one on AJ's opening game. That is a beauty. greenjump Looks like someone wants to make an early season statement about a promotion. More travel for Mom and Dad, but I am sure you wouldn't mind. no

ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz

Guess I was sleeping 'cause I just noticed this thread. Thanks Moc1. He was pleased with that first outing, tho I know that in his second start, he was wondering at what point he could graciously place the baseball on the mound, exit the nearest gate, and walk all the way home to Orange County. Hopefully he got that out of his system for the season. (Couldn't throw a pitch they didn't like ... cry )

Moc1 ... Lancaster is about 115 miles from our house but can take anywhere from 2-3 hours to get there since the games are in the evenings and we have to drive through Los Angeles near rush hour to get there. But we do get there !!! Actually 3 of the 'away' fields are closer to home than the home field and we always look forward to seeing him at those, even if they don't have the home field advantage (which in most cases is a 30 moh wind that blows across the field directly over the right field fence ... they don't call Lancaster the Launching Pad for nothing)
