Sounds like Lancaster, CA where the new Boston Red Sox affiliate has their high A team ... they call it the launch pad for a reason, wind everyday starting at 3 and taking everything over the right field fence.

The wind chill factor is what scares me ... brrrr loki

FBM, we lived in Lancaster for 3 years....first place I ever saw trees growing side ways......yes, there is a lot of wind.....but a great baseball town.....

Hardin-Simmons U. takes 2 of 3 from Louisiana College.
Friday, Feb 23
High: 62 °F
Winds: SSW at 35mph, Wind Gusts: 45 mph
Hitters paradise & pitchers nightmare with wind blowing out.
Game 1: 18 - 10, 41 total hits, 6 home runs.
(Son picked up a W, HSU 4 HRs, Son allows 1 long ball).
Game 2: 10 - 3, 21 total hits, 1 home.

Saturday, Feb 24
High: 54 °F,
Winds: WNW at 40mph, Wind Gusts: 55+ mph
Wind swings around to blow in. Gusting winds made for Dust Bowl.
Game 3: 2 - 11, 23 total hits, 0 home runs, 8 total errors. Ugly!

McMurray takes 2 of 3 from UT-D
Fri, wind helps to left.
Game 1: 12 - 13, 33 total hits, 2 home runs
Wind blowing out to center.
Game 2: 15 - 8, 30 total hits, 1 home run
Game 3: 16 - 14, 31 total hits, 3 home runs
Can't wait for a good ole light breeze game day.
