Does anyone know what the roster limits are for the Coastal Plains League? Is there much movement in this league among players - can players be added to rosters or removed?

I can't really answer your first two questions, but the rosters can always be changed. The CPL is a growing league, and is shaping up to become a top notch summer league.

Though many leagues have their own rules, so there are some differences, they all have to adapt to the fact that some of their incoming players may be off playing in the NCAA tourney.

So, they will routinely offer 10 day contracts to players who aren't signed in order to survive until everyone arrives. It's very common at the beginning of the summer. Don't be surprised if the roster "explodes" for a week or two. As the players filter in from college ball, the ones under the 10-day contracts will leave.

When I was listening to a game tonight the announcer said 25 to fill out the roster. But when I looked the other day I saw as few as 18 and I think the high I counted was 31. So I'm not sure, but the announcer made it sound like 25 was it.

I believe for most leauges, the standard roster size is 25 players.
