Erskine is a NCAA DII that plays in the Carolinas Virginia Athletic Conference. The past two or three years they have posted pretty good records, being ranked from time to time in the Collegiate Baseball poll. They had a couple of guys get drafted who were DI transfers. There is some concern with over recruiting, as they bring in huge freshman classes and allow academics and baseball to weed them out. They only fund about 3 scholarships. Erskine is located in Due West, SC which is a tiny (less than 1000 population)town. It is 25 miles to both Anderson and Greenwood which are bout 30,000 and 40 miles to Greenville which has about 100,000.
