My '08 son is interested in going to school in Virginia or the Carolinas. Can anyone point us to a local or regional showcase that is well-attended by coaches at all levels, but particularly D2 and D3? We are already familiar with Best of Virginia.

Elite Baseball is pleased to announce June 9-10 as the date for the Elite Baseball College Showcase. The showcase will take place at Clipper Magazine Stadium, home of the 2006 Atlantic League Champion, Lancaster Barnstormers.
This showcase will be attended by Division I, II, III, NAIA and JUCO scouts along with Professional scouts. In fact, Elite Baseball will guarantee over 15 scouts from NY, PA, MD, VA, NC and TN regions.

Holden I would highly recommend Impacts Showcase events. They are always highly attended especially from NC SC and VA. Check out the website and look under showcase events. Also check out ccprospects.net they are having a showcase for 85.00 that will attended by several D1 D-2 D-3 and jucos in the carolinas. Good Luck

Va Wesleyan College has a fall showcase (early Nov) that is well attended by the likes of:
Va Wesleyan Va Tech James Madison Old Dominion Richmond Va Commonwealth VMI William & Mary Averett Hampden Sydney Chowan At least 8 pro scouts (off the top of my head)
Old Dominion hosts one the week after VWC's as well.

HC- If your son has strong academics, consider the Headfirst Showcase. My son (08) went to Richmond last August. Great event, well run. Check out the schools attending and see if any interest you.
