STAB continued it's home win streak as it fought back in a 5 run 6th inning to beat Trinity at home. Brett Goodloe went 6 innings and Kyle Long came in with the bases loaded and no outs to finish what David Spinosa had started in the 7th. Long's fastball was dominant and went well with his slider.

Brett Goodloe pitched one HELL of a game against a team that knew every pitch he was going to throw. After a 2 run first inning, and 3 runs in the first two innings, Goodloe did very well after that allowing no runs and only a handful of hits. The Saints showed tremendous poise in the final stretch.

"As soon as I got out there I felt a strange relationship with the pitcher's mound. It was as if I'd been born out there. Pitching just felt like the most natural thing in the world. Striking out batters was easy." - The Sultan of Swat
