Has the U Georgia overrecruitment, described on the Recruiting thread, impacted these two players from Virginia? Hope not.

I can't imagine either of those two would be affected. But if UGA were that stupid, I'm sure any number of suitors would step up.

If it has please let me know as soon as possible. I know several coaches that would love to get that call.

I can confirm that Verdin has NOT been affected by the UGA situation.
He is having a great summer in Midland. Expect big things from Peter with the Bulldogs!

thanks guys for checking in....both Levi and Peter are looking good for the fall in fact they both are going to be roommates along w/ two other freshman players coming in. I just came back from watching Peter play w/ the Redksins out in Ohio in their AABC regional, which they won to advance to the Connie Mack World Series out in Farmington NM to defend their CMWS crown from last year. It should be another amazing event and for those who've never had the opportunity to come out to Farmington for this event, it's by far one of the most amazing events I've ever watched in baseball. The entire town for one week shuts down and treats these players like big leaguers, local town folks line up for autographs, the players get a police escort in to town, there's a huge parade down main street, all the businesses shut down to participate, after every game there's a tone of kids lined up requesting autographs, asking for a hat, batting glove, tee shirt, jersey, anything they can. If all of that were not enough the competition is severe, tremendous talent on every team, I can't wait to attend again this year, I leave friday. It all starts Friday August 1st w/ the Midland Redskins playing in the late game that opening night. I warn you though, due to the time change, some of these late games go into the wee hours of the morning.
