Mills Godwin SS Reed Gragnani (2009) has been selected as an alternate for the trials for the Junior National Team (18u Team USA), as a result of his play at the recent Tournament of Stars.

Cosby OF Mitchell Shifflett (2010), better known to some as a sprinter on the track team, was picked as a finalist for the Youth National Team (16u Team USA) out of the multitudes at JO's East in Jupiter, FL.

Congrats to Mitchell!
He led The Braves to a #1 seed and 5th place finish.

Mitchell had a whale of a tournament in Jupiter. He batted .500 for the week,including 3 or 4 bunt hits.
He also showed that he is a complete player who knows how to play the game. In one game he scored from second base on a 1-3 putout. He also played a flawless centerfield.
