I also thought the 1B shared the blame. Of course, it was a catcher playing there at the time; Flack was at 3B. Somehow the talking heads failed to notice the import of that and they blamed the 2B alone. He was a standup guy and took the fall in the post-game, but he shouldn't have to bear that burden alone.
