Lynnhaven Pony Baseball will have a Palomino Team (17/18) this year. The team will consist of high school varsity players from the following Beach Schools (PA, FC, Cox, Ocean Lakes, Kellam). We will start play sometime in the middle of June to late June, with our first tournament being held the week of 11 July in Chesapeake. From this point, it's win and advance to Greensboro, NC (two tournaments, if you win the first) and the World Series in Puerto Rico. This is a great opporunity for kids to be seen (if we advance to Greensboro). Last years team (15/16) was seen by numerous scouts (all levels), resulting in a player being selected for the Pony National Team (17U) from this team, playing in front of alot of college and pro scouts in Texas this summer. We actually played Deep Creek on Monday. We won 1-0, they have a very good team. The tournament actually starts on Friday night at 6pm at Deep Creek High School.
