I was following Collegesports.com baseball scoreboard/articles last night and what fun to see so many Virginia players highlighted by the different schools after their games yesterday.
Congrats to all of them but especially to Jess Stewart, Freshman Pitcher for Notre Dame (Osbourn HS 2003) for getting your first collegiate win..

Congrats to Chad Bray (Forest Park H.S.)on his 4-0 start on the hill. Looks as if the VA boys are doing ok @ Greensboro College (Kris Wiggins - Great Bridge H.S. hitting .400) It's early but some VA players are off to great starts. W&M'S - Chris Rahl (GBHS) .417, 4 HR, 16 RBI, Greg Sexton (NRHS) .462 , 9 RBI, UvA's Mark Reynolds (FCHS).400 BA, Mike Mitchell (GBHS) .361 BA & Ryan Zimmerman (Kellam HS) .357 BA among others mentioned. It's great to hear & see these players from our area doing well. Best wishes for continues successes throughout the year.

you neglected to tell about one more Chesapeake player! Scott Sizemore is hitting .400 with 8 rbi for the Rams of VCU. He's also a pretty good second baseman.
