I could be wrong..... but I believe Beemer played for Bayside his freshmen year and then "jumped ship" when they realized Bayside wasn't going to be that strong. There are lots of rumors that went around on how he was allowed to go to PA even though his family lives in Bayside's district....but there are way too many negative post on this board, so I won't go there! Besides, it worked out for him with a state championship and a great college career, so I can't fault his family for turning to the dark side and playing for PA.
Speaking of Bayside, Zaine Jack and Ryan Davis were named to the All Tournament Team at the Wheels Invitational this past weekend at Rock Hill, SC. Zaine pitched a 2 hit complete game, Ryan pitched a 3 hit complete game and both hit a couple of home runs. Chris Warren also hit a pair, as well as DJ Stallworth and Weems going yard as well. Bayside has 7 players who have hit homeruns with Bonomo and Armistead having gone yard in the past. Sounds like a great lineup with all that power and the big lefty Deschamps on the mound, but they are having a difficult time putting it all together. But when they do.......
Bayside is coming on very strong...they blew out two teams in their spring break tourny scoring 19 and 18 runs...also hitting 8 homeruns.. if that offense keeps up the beach district is in trouble

i agree with the beach district being nuts...both Kellam and Landstown have suprised me...bayside plays landstown tomorrow and it should be a great game...both teams are very solid

bayside is i believe 1-2 in district play. lets just see how they do over the course of the rest of regular season. they shoud be a 4th place team when the dust settles or maybe better.
