unfortunatley the bayside marlins state title hopes were crushed last night as they were defeated by the ocean lakes dolphins. i would like to take this time to congratulate the marlins on a stellar 11-10 season. i would also like to congratulate future norfolk state spartan zaine jack on a great season! im almost positive he has beach district hottie of the year in his grasps. congrats to all marlins and BETTER LUCK NEXT YEAR!

what happened to VMI? Was it ever really an option?

Yes, it was an option......Zaine will be in a better situation at Norfolk State than at VMI.

His dad and coach told me he gave a verbal to VMI but they (VMI) were waiting to see if some of their guys would be drafted before they committed.

He is happy Norfolk State came in with an offer to cover the tuition cost. The Spartans have a good program so I think it's a good choice.

Plus, we still get to see Patrick Hall, Zaine Jack, and Jermaine Berry for a few more years.
