I heard Menchville won 1-0 over North Stafford. I also heard Oakton won, but have not heard a score. Heard nothing on the Lake Braddock game.

Oakton beat Matoaca, 12-6. They must've come out smoking, because no one had touched Logan Culpepper all year before that, though Virginiapreps.com reports that the 7-run first inning was afflicted with several errors, also unusual for Matoaca esp. on their home field.

Yup, they ran into Chris Duty and Monacan.

Knowing how low Duty keeps his pitch count, and since they were able to pull him after only 5 innings (typically under 60 pitches for Duty), I'm wondering if he might be ready to pitch again by Friday night. No point saving him for a championship game you might never get to play in.
