Cox and Western Branch scrimmaged on saturday with Cox winning 26-7.

Solid hitting by the falcons including James Adams three run homer. I believe every falcon starter had at least 2-hits.

So much for no offense Smile

Salinger lasted only 1 inning, left with bases loaded in top second.

Olson pitched the next two giving up alot runs including a 3-run homer.

Pond did not pitch. He must not have been physically ready to pitch this early in the season.

Is it true that the reason Pond did not pitch was because he has a hurt arm that's been hurting for serveral weeks?? And if so, would he not pitch til later in the season??

actually the truth is that pond warmed up with the team and batted in the game, he did not pitch due to a sore bicep.

Every pitcher and for that matter every player has soreness early on in the season. Pond didn't pitch in 45 degree weather on a mildly sore arm. He's not hurt, all he did was make a wise decision not to hurt himself in which any smart pitcher would do.
