I am not sure why it is but basically the Northern and central games have been low scoring affairs mostly, and the eastern and notrthwestern games have been high scoring affars. I am not sure if it is the pitching, the hitting, the fielding, or even the umping (the umpires in the northwest region I know seem to have a small strike zone forcing more pitches to be grooved).
