I hope some one can follow the games and keep us up to speed here.

Looks like being defending regional champ allowed them to draw the host team for their opener. The host team at states exited after two games without denting the scoreboard. Sure would be nice to get that first W without spending too much pitching. But I guess you can't take that for granted, not until you get a big lead anyway.

Though if they keep swinging it the way they have been, that big lead might just be there after 3-4 innings.

Post 60 will be rooting for Post 137 to return to the Legion World series and win it all. Not only would it be great for Virginia legion baseball, the farther they go the less that 12-2 loss will hurt.

post 137 won 7-2, out 15 hits on the board but really didnot take control as they normally do, I think they played a little tight and now this one is behind them I look for more of the same run production as the state tournament

Looks like they lost a close one to Mt. Laurel NJ yesterday (11-9). According to the schedule they play New Castle DE at 4:30 today. New Castle knocked out WV yesterday 12-0.

got behind on to many batters and walks, post 137 started hitting late in the 6th and on but at one time NJ had 9 runs on 6 hits the walks kill. They will have to hit and pitch much better than they have the last 2 days

Danny got into a little trouble the 1st inning but stayed steady the remaining innings to pitch 7 innings and post 137 was more aggressive with the bats and played very well defensivley, not as many walks as last night. Looks like Morrison tomorrow

Eliminated today, 18-2.

Good run boys, sorry it had to end, but not many get this far.

Seemed like a real fluke-like game for 137. They walked 10, hit 4, had 6 errors and Sollars was out with the flu. Just not their day....
