Does anyone know who was selected for the South team. I'm guessing, but I think it was selected and is being run out of Hanover High School. Anyone got a complete roster, or can let me know who might be on the team?

Also please verify location and give dates and times. Some of us like to show up and watch. Good luck getting any advance word from the newspaper!

Central, North, East and West are the teams for the commonwealth games in Salem on July 7, 8 and 9th.
I know that the West team has already been selected.
Don't know where to get rosters.
Games started last year at 8:30 Sat. morning.

It just seems like the whole process of who, what, where, when and why is not publicized. Like it's a state secret or something. There has got to be some kind of written procedures that govern the process of the nominations, tryouts, and then team selections. Otherwise it has the perception, as it does now, of a special club run by, who?

My son was given an application by his high school coach and attended a try out ( 1 of 2 for west team ) at Pulaski ,Va. in early June.

Correction:

First try out was May 21st at Pulaski.

If you made the first cut ( they picked 32 out of 100 -130 at 2 try outs) then you played in the second cut game.(June 4th)

16 made the final roster.
