If a pitcher walks 2 batters in an inning and both walked batters later score off a hit (no errors in the inning) are they earned runs? The kid who got the hit never scored.

Thank you. I assumed that they were but I was told by a couple that they weren't and I wanted to make sure... and prove them wrong.

Thank You Florida Fan at our school our coach does unearned runs for walks. What about Hit By Pitch earned or Not?

Your pitchers probably have great ERA's...

Yes on HBP, yes on advance by WP, no on advance by PB, no on error.

Reconstruct the inning as if the errors, passed balls and obstructions didn't happen. If the runners would've scored, their earned.
