watching the LA/Phil game last night. wild pitch and batter takes first. I am by no means a scorekeeper... so here's my question.... batter is charged with an at bat, pitcher charged with a wild pitch and credited with a strike out? batters BA goes down and OBP up? those were actually questions not statements. also what else happens scoring wise in this sitch? thanks

You have that all right, except that the batter's reaching in this situation is not a credit to his on-base average. Reaching on a wild pitch is like reaching on an error -- it was given to the batter, not earned.
