Coaches should return calls and e-mails as promptly as possible. I feel that should be done in any profession. Staffing could be part of the problem. Ex. We have 12 football coaches. One of which, his responibility is recuiting and dealing with college request and contact......Baseball, well, needless to say we do not have 12 coaches. We also double as field maintance, laundry service, etc, etc.
Returning calls is a pet peeve of mine. So, I do everything in my power to get all of my e-mails and calls returned that day. I do everything I can to find players a place to play after high school if that is what they want to do. I have players this year that will get full rides, partials, no $, and walk-ons. (so, if you are a college coach looking for some players let me know.....sorry the full-rides have already signed) The only problem I run across is that some parents think that their son should have a full ride somewhere and they best they get offered is partial tuition.
