Hi, Mr. Falls: If I give a testimony of how great the TPX bats are, would you send me a new TPX EXO 33/30 for free? We just love the TPX EXO, especialy it's "sneakyness". Everytime you thought you hit a regular Pop-fly, and the out fielder also thought that's a Pop-fly, thus charge forward. But the ball just keep sailing up, it ends up flying over the OF's head, you got a 2B or 3B, and most of the time it's a homer. I don't know how you guys desgined the EXO, how do you hide the sound? The ball just pops out like crazy. thanks.

Thanks for the comments on the Exogrid. It is a great bat. We got a good chuckle out of your request for a free one. Certainly no offense, but if we gave one away every time we heard great feedback about the bat we'd be out of business. I'm pretty sure I can arrange for a Louisville Slugger cap, though. Send me a private message with your mailing address and I'll see what I can do. FYI - Ion Sports named the Exogrid its 2007 Baseball Product of the year. The Sporting Goods Manufacturer's Association also informed Louisville Slugger that retail sales records show Exogrid was the number 1 selling bat in 2007/2008.

Thanks, as for the "Free Bat" part, I was just kidding. To keep up with his body growth and to endlessly pursue the new bat pop, we alomst need a new bat every year. If you give out new bat free to everyone, you are probably going broke very soon. But consider this deal, if my son break a HS single season home run record with your TPX EXO, what publicity will TPX get? Will you send me a TPX EXO bat free for that reason? I bet you will beg to know our names and addresses. I am kidding again. Let's see how his baseball career goes......Thanks anyway.

Here’s the white paper for BESR. Where does it say the bat is stationary? The bat velocity is extremely important in the calculation of the formula. http://www1.ncaa.org/membership/governance/sports_and_r...l/BESRWhitePaper.pdfQuote From “What Is The Maximum Allowed Value For The BESR?” on page 6 of the paper. When bats were first tested in 1999, an initial lot of baseballs was used. The tests were conducted by using a pitch speed of 70 mph and a bat speed (at a point 6 inches from the end of the barrel) of 66 mph. Under these conditions, the best major league wood bat yielded a BESR of 0.728, which the NCAA then set to be the maximum allowed value. Is BESR flawed? IMHO It sure is, but not because bat velocity is zero in their tests.

I personally think the best bat that Louisville has made to date was the Original Dynasty (The Blue one and that crazy "Yellow Mustard" colored-knobbed one ). That bat has the same ST+20 material that is currently in the EXO-GRID, and the H2, only it's throughout the ENTIRE bat!... Man, that bat still has incredible pop, and durability... I think Louisville kinda said we finally made a bat way too good, and nobody's gonna want to buy another bat, so we gotta "tech it up" a bit to compete with the EASTON Stealth... Introducing the EXO-Grid... Taaa-Daaah!! The EXO-Grid is a GREAT bat too, but I just don't see the difference in performance with the "DIE-NASTY" (as my players call it...! All kiddin' aside, Louisville should consider another rev of a 100% ST+20 bat...

Some around UGA thought it was the bat as well: Interesting take on NIKE bats!
