Let's hear it!

What/Who do you like and what are some of the best baseball books you've read?

Any topic: mental game, pitching, hitting, defense, drills...etc.

Dorfman's Mental Game of Baseball, ABC's of Pitching, Mental Approach to Hitting, and Coaching the Mental Game rank at the top of my list.

Rod Delmonico had a book out I really liked, can't remember the title. I loaned to a guy and, like all my Vonneguts, it is still missing.

Get the Baseball Coaches Bible put out by the coaches association. Great resource. Also, Andy Lopez' book is good.

I agree with those above and want to add Ron Polk's Baseball Playbook. IMO the best baseball book ever.

I have the Baseball Coaches Bible and Coach Polk's book. Can't believe I forgot about Coach Polk's playbook. Literally covers every aspect of baseball...

Polk's Playbook is great!

Tony Gwynn's Art of Hitting

Ted Williams Science of Hitting

Must read "Heart of the Game" about Mike Coolbaugh, lifetime Minor Leaguer turned coach killed by foul ball coaching 1st base. You will remember why you love this great game, but more importantly it reminds you of the subtle joys of life you take for granted each day.
