What do some of you coaches do to honor your seniors before, during, or after their last home game? Looking for new ideas.

Our booster club lines them up before last home game and presents the moms' with a bouquet of flowers and we thank the parents for their contributions of time, etc.
I have a local artist that will paint me a jersey (poster size) and i give the kids one... it looks real nice.
*actually it's not paint; it's charcoal but it's very nice looking. Hanging in a frame it looks like a 'retired' jersey.

Can you tell me what you pay for the cost of the drawing? We usually frame a jersey in a shadow box, but it cost about $180.00 a piece once we pay for the jersey and the framing. We are looking for something less expensive. Would this artist be interested (if it is less expensive).

I pay $20 for a poster-size jersey. Then i pick up a cheap plastic frame at Wal-Mart for between 8 and 12 bucks... This year i only have 4 seniors. If I have a bunch I'd ask booster club to buy the frames.

When I was coaching high school, we used to give each senior a Louisville Slugger bat with their name, school and grad year engraved in it.

The gals have had many-a-many conversations about senior night and end of the year banquets. The guys have stopped by and added their 2 cents in too.
