I'm just wondering if any of you use, or have experimented with using some sort of verbal signals from the 3rd base coaching box instead of the standard hand signals.

At the young ages, we did fake hand signals, and used verbal signals for the real call.
Like yelling the player's number for bunt, or a certain phrase if we expected a change-up from the pitcher. As the players got older, we moved to hand signals exclusively.

with signals dont outsmart yourself. KISS keep it simple stupid.
