When wearing any part of team uniform away from the field (wearing the team hat at school, or some teams wear their jerseys to school on game days) that piece of the uniform is to be worn properly. In other words, no backward hats, jerseys tucked in and buttoned up if applicable, etc. Just my opinion

Confused
if you already have code of conduct contracts, I'm hard pressed to see the value of another one for each sport??

if ya need a separate contract to get em to wear their uni/clothes right you need a new coach Eek

all our hs athletes signed conduct contracts re conduct, substance abuse etc, spelling out infractions, penalties etc.

only difference between sports was football players had a pack of "get out of jail free cards" attached to theirs. Eek

a contract signed by a minor has no value

Bee ... I am at a loss on why the AD wants it ???

Any player that has played for me would never dare wear his hat backwards, period

The school rules on subtance abuse are already in place. I agree that should be it. The rest is my expections as thier coach.

PS My son plays football also

Yall are right, if the coach cares enough to enforce a policy like this, then the team will definitely know to wear their uni properly. I was just offering baseball specific ideas

Bee, our Athletic Code of Conduct required both an athlete's signature and a parent's signature.
