Man, I LOVEthis site! I hope I'm not repeating a thread but I wanted to throw a question about uniforms out there.
I wanted to see if you guys have any websites that have uniform package deals. A place where I can get everything, kind of a one stop shop. I've looked and only found one, Boombah.com. They have a team package program that has some great deals.
Also, does anyone else have experience with that company? They have shirts I can use for home and away, pants, a T for a practice jersey, a ls cold weather undershirt, a ss warm weather undershirt, a pullover for warmups and belt all for around $130 a player, which seems like a great deal. However, I want to be able to compare it with some other sites.
We've mostly used local vendors in the past, what does everyone else use? Thanks!

I bought some pants for us last season to wear in practice and our JV games from Boombah. They have held up so far and the people over the phone were friendly and helpful. They do have some really good deals on their site.

Thank you guys for the suggestions! However, I was looking more for a 'bundle' type deal, like the one I mentioned in my first post. With the economy doing as well as it is (insert eyeroll), I want to try and give my parents a break.
We have a local store that always does a great job with our unis, but the cost is more than I'd like to ask from parents this year. I'd rather spend moeny on quality training equipment than have Under Armour everything down to the jock. It's a high wire act making sure we don't look like the Jabroi Allstars without blowing an entire budget.

I realize you can do all this long distance, but I would be very reluctant to spend serious money without someone local that I could hold accountable if the whole thing got fouled up.
Support your local sporting goods vendor! If your order gets messed up, he knows he will see you again, and he knows that you'll be talking (for good or for ill) to others to whom he hopes to sell.
Going with distant vendors, whether on line or over the phone, is a "penny wise/pound foolish" situation if you ask me. Sooner or later you will get burned.

thank you for you comments! I find it amazing how many sports teams will come to us local business owners asking for financial support but then take their business else where. Support your local businesses and keep the money in the community.

I agree with the previous two posts. Keep it local if possible. You will have less inventory headaches, you will demonstrate support to your local community, and you could have a sales rep come out to demonstrate the products (ie. let the players and parents try stuff out).

I have ordered uniforms for two different teams from Prolook and love them. If you play in a warm climate they have a very nice lightweight mesh jersey that my summer guys love(college age and older.) My high school kids play in the spring in the cold, so they use a lined mesh jersey that works out great for that time of the year. One of the nicest things about prolook is that they have no minimum orders, so if I need 1 jersey I can get it a no extra cost.

i know oregon isn't shy about the uniforms that they put on their student athletes, but that big yellow "O" jersey is quite possibly the ugliest baseball uniform (conceptional or not) i have ever seen.!!

Its hard to beat Victory. I've worn every brand possible it seems between playing and coaching. I have 3 sets of Victory and I'm getting ready to order a 4th. My players love them and they hold up well. They're cheaper than most of the top brands and you usually have a 6 week turnaround. That's rare. Get the classic pants with no elastic in the bottom. They look sharp, everyone we play compliments us on them.

I have bought Pro Line out of Fort Worth the past three years. They are of very high quality and hold up well. I have also worn Victory and it is very good as well. Those are the best two that I have worn or bought.
