Heard Jim LeFevbre(sp?) talk about using a flat bat to hit off a tee or soft toss to keep hands palm up and palm down. I liked the sound of it, and rather than buy one, I made a couple.

First, does anyone use these as a training tool? Do you feel they accomplish anything?

If you do, are there any special instructions to get the hitters to use the right? I guess you just have them line the flat side up with the ball on the tee, then swing, and if they don't keep their hands P-up, P-down, they won't hit is square. Sound right?

Let me know if anyone has any thoughts.

Well, they'd have to be careful not to be LBW, and with some successful blocking, and a clean stroke, they could go for a century.

Ooops, sorry, I thought I had strayed on to hscricketweb.com! Wink
