I am looking for a chart/info sheet/ table of oppositions tendancies. I'm looking for all of the little things that will help our team. Things like: Pitcher first pitch , tells,2 strike pitch, 1st-3rd defense, bunt defense, steal coverage, etc. I'm hoping to get this all on one or two pages. I'll have my bench players involved and watching that.
If you have something like this and would like to share, that would be great!
If not, what are some of the little things that you look for?

Coach Laboets, how do you track your pitcher's game? We use a sheet which looks somewhat like a scorebook. However, we have put "rows" on the bottom of each box to track pitches and sequence along with another "box" in the corner where we mark location of the pitch. We then write on the back of the sheet from the previous game all of the tendencies we noted during the game. I think you have my email if you'd like a copy of our sheet.
"... and if you want to make God laugh, tell him your plan."
I'm thinking more along the lines of a checklist at this point. This could be a great off-season acquisition! I'm still hoping that this wheel has already been invented.
Since the HS season is over now, I am coaching a 13U Babe Ruth team. They are very quick to learn and enjoy picking up on the little things that help the team win. We had a bench player "win" the game for us(or at least that's how I played it up in post game) when he picked up that the MI were not backing up the throws back to the pitcher.

We have a chart that tracks opposing Pitchers for every single count situation 0-0 all the way to 3-2 we track their pitches to show what they throw in every count to every batter. Included on that chart is tip offs, time to home with a runner on and comments on the types of pitches, and pitch count per inning and total pitch count. Each inning we start a new line to track what is being done.

If that is available to email I would appreciate getting that. See my email address above. I will also make my final product available. It may be a while in the making though.

I'll try my best to e-mail it to you, along with the other charts I've got copies of, I think you will find all of them useful.

Doc_K, if you don't mind I'd like to have a copy of your charts. I'm always on the lookout for things like that! I have made my own scouting sheets, which are similar to others that I have seen, but with spaces to record pitch location, and a small amount of room for notations. Mine is pretty basic, however. I can send you a copy of it if you want it.
I can be reached via email at the following address: JWC32_@hotmail.com (note the underscore before the "@" sign).

Thanks, Doc_K. I had no problem getting the images to open. I like what you've done! I'll send mine tonight (but it will be late, as I have to leave now to coach a road game).

I forgot to mention. I owe it all to my Coach, he really taught me how to be prepared.
