Seems like every baseball league/organization in the country is requiring base coaches to wear em. When do you think the National Federation will require HS coaches to wear them?
I really want to see my (skinny) assistant in one, he's gonna look like a bobble head doll. ms

I would not be surprised if we never see it. Helmets are about "safety" which also means lawsuits. How many high school coaches are going to sue a school or school district? File a suit and you will never coach again.

It's being proposed for 2011. Since NCAA coaches have managed to deal with it without the world coming to an end, I assume HS coaches will be able to do likewise...after some screaming and kicking, of course.
