Im only a sophmore and ive cought every game in my freshman and sophmore season. For some reason my feet always hurt and i think its my cleats..Can any one tell me what is the best cleat for catching?

You may just have a bad cleat. I've only recently used Under Armour mid, and they ripped on me, pretty quickly. I still used them, but it was the inside of the cleat (on the outside). It happened to everyone on the team, not just the catchers, although mine more than everyone.

Now I use the Nike low, with interchangeable swooshes, and those have been good. They can get pretty loose, and I think I like mid better, because I don't like it tight on my toe, but I like it tight by my ankle.

I preferred molded cleats for catching. They were much more comfortable than the metal. Also, catching bullpens and during practice, I normally wore turf shoes instead too because I did a lot of catching..

I think i will give the molded cleats a try and see if they are more comfortable
