I am considering becoming a Samurai soon, but I wanted to hear some positive testimonials first. If there are negative, I would also like to hear it. I know many colleges use it, so it can't be too bad. My main concern is the mask- it looks a little wierd, has anyone worn it before.

My son, 15 yoa, has a Samurai chest protector and absolutely loves it. He really likes the wings that offer a little more side protection. The front seems a little more solid than others he has used. He wanted the leg guards too but he didn't find them comfortable on his knees. I think that was just an individual fit issue rather than any knock against them. We don't have the helmet so no comment on that.
