My 13yo fractured his thumb in two spots this weekend. I know there are some previous threads about thumb protections-which of the evoshields do you use, the hourglas or oval? Is there a place that carries these or other similar devices where we could try them on?

I don't know if there is a place that sells them; I've only seen them online or in catalogs. But no you can't try them on-- once that package opens up, it has to be fitted right away and it will harden within about 20 minutes...

The hourglass is good, but only if your thumb is adult sized
