For college moms...are any of you starting to get "butterflys", knowing that the season is just one month away?!

Well, I'm not a college Mom yet, but it's probably not a good sign that I have butterflies and my son's opening season is ONE YEAR and one month away

In exactly 4 weeks ... I will have sat thru the first 4 1/2 innings by now .. scorebook in hand ... waiting (im)patiently for the first game of the season (not counting alumni game) to be history ...
I think I am having heart palpitations ...

As a mom of a college freshman all I have to say is...."ARE YOU KIDDING!!!!" I think I began having heart palpitations when he verbally committed the August before his senior year in high school! But, as nervous as I am....I am REALLY looking forward to the experience!

The only reason I can be happy about his leaving to go back to school is that it means I'll be watching him play ball in 28 days, 15 1/2 hours.
