Hi ladies,

I'm sticking to online shopping. The whole "wait in endless lines while the sales clerk is on her cell phone with her boyfriend" thing makes me too grumpy.

I had to work yesterday 7am-7:30pm. Got home at 8:15 and my DH and '06 were in the middle of making turkey burgers and mashed potatoes, the two younger ones were supervising and everyone was having a grand time. Sat down to eat at 9:30 pm and had one of the nicest Thanksgivings in a long while. First time in three years I haven't had to go off to night shift after dinner. I'm so blessed. Hope everyone had as good a Thanksgiving as we did.

Beepers40 - Sure hope you have today off and can put your feet up. Sounds like you have a wonderful family support network. A Very Happy Holiday to you and yours, from another bay area BBMom.

Me too, I love the online shopping. My girls wanted to go to the mall this afternoon. I hate shopping, but they just wanted to go experience it the Friday after Thanksgiving.

Sales clerks? We stopped in a shoe store so I could look a bit for my husband some new shoes for work. I asked her about wing tips that come in wider widths. She asked me what were wing tips. Roll Eyes

You wimps !!!! biglaugh biglaugh

I was up at 5:15, at Walmart at 5:45 in the store at 6:00 and home by 7:00.. Went for three of the bargains and got them hehehe. I have done this for the past 4 or 5 years, its tradition and the most fun is watching the fools in-line yell at the late arrivers for cutting in line and then the rush into the store.. I do it for entertainment more than the shopping.. The fun part of this morning, my 16 year old went with me.. Couldn't beleive that many people would be at Wal-mart that time of the morning or how ruthless they were.. Oh, did I mention it was my 16 year old SON !!!!

After a short morning nap (nap for me, most of you were probably still sleeping from the night before) Chris and I went to Potomac Mills, one of the largest outlet malls on the east coast. The place was PACKED, you could barely move, didn't buy much but I did get to spend the day with Chris before he heads back to college.. Came home and have rested the rest of the day..

Now it feels like the holiday season has begun.

Wow JustMom - You're a far braver woman than I am!!!! I've been to Potomac Mills on a 'normal day' and it was scary enough (my folks live in the Richmond area). Can't imagine what it was like today. You're right - I am a wimp!! Wink

Well....wish me luck....I'm heading out to the King of Prussia Mall today. If you don't hear from me by tomorrow, send out the troops for me! The only good thing....I can hardly believe my 18 year old son wants to go too! thumb
