Looks like a good read about being a mom of a baseball player! clap

SSMom,

I've never seen that before, but it looks like a good one!

I have it and have read it cover to cover twice.

I take it everywhere with me. It is kinda of text book for those of us just getting started.

Another very good cute read is "The Cool Chicks Guide to Baseball".

Since my son is a senior, I have friends with little boys getting into the sport who often talk to me about their boys and their trials with baseball. Looks like this might be a good gift for those just starting on this journey that I have so enjoyed.

P.S. I bet there is a baseball book in all of us.

OK, it's early morning here, but when I first looked at the picture, I thought it was an amazingly beautiful flower arrangement... I thought "I WANT THAT!" Ha! I'll wake up soon!

mythreesons ...

I thought the same thing when I first saw the roses ... and I bet it could be done up pretty easily for a centerpiece ... perhaps only at the registration table or something ... for end of season banquets. Probably would work best using little league sized bat and glove and ball. The roses could be done in some color that compliments the team colors ... can't you just see a beautiful golden yellow, or even white?

Where were these ideas when I was doing that kind of thing? And for that matter, where the heck was that book 20 years ago when we I was just beginning my journey?

As for the "book" in all of us ... I didn't feel like I had much of one until mine was drafted (tho there are some anecdotes from his youth that could be footnoted) and the title of mine is "Musings of a Minor League Momma" !!!
