Linear ... Check out the thread in this forum entitled "Trouble is ..." and you will get an idea of what we serve up at our respective homes. However, I am sure some of us oldie moldie moms can convince even our non-cooking friends to fix you a befitting meal. By the way, what do midwestern curmudgeons like for dinner? Crow? Pigs' feet?
I realize you are trying to be funny ("Dinner ready yet?"), but even your humor rubs people the wrong way. One thing I have learned over the many years of my life ... in order to enjoy banter with another, there needs to be an understanding and silent agreement between the bantering parties. I am pretty sure that doesn't exist here.

I agree. If you don't meet the obvious qualifications for this forum then you need to have something special to contribute in a positive manner. We have had numerous male websters who have been welcomed here because they know how to treat a lady with respect. They are very special and are welcome to contribute anytime.
