We did a media guide that featured all the players, but focused most on the seniors. It had ***, bios, and other info, and we sold ads. It wasn't a huge moneymaker, but it is a great momento. I'll be glad to email you the .pdf. It's not a masterpiece of graphic design, but it's still pretty good. We also did an alumni game. Worked with the school to contact former baseball players and got lots of interest. We had guys participate who graduated in the 50's all the way to the 06's. They paid a $25 donation to play, ump or coach, and many of them gave an extra donation once they got there. They really had a lot of fun. The alumni played each other because it's against FHSAA rules for the players to participate. But it was a fun time and a good way to build relationships with the alumni. Concessions are our biggest moneymaker. When my son was playing AAU, we hosted a tournament. Between concessions and entry fees, we made about $17,000!

We work shifts at the Scottrade Center for Blues Hockey games. We get 10% of the take for the night. Our cheerleaders just did a raffle for a team jersey, a preferred parking spot and admission for 2 to all home football games. They sent it out to all alum and current students and families. They brought in big bucks doing that. I love the the media guide idea though and the alum game. Sounds like great fun but our school is only 13years old not too many alum yet.
