Hey Ladies,
How is summer ball going? My son is playing for the love of the game this summer and i have never seen him happier. No more waiting for phone calls or watching for recruiters. He even got to catch this summer. I hope everyone is having a good summer and I am praying for the moms of the 2009 recruiting class.

hello tigermom! Son played with his high school team and coached his little brother's 15U team. He also went to a big tourney in Omaha with a select area team. He had a blast there and has had a good time this summer hanging out with his friends before they all go away in the fall. He also is "working" as a lifeguard and enjoying the scenery there as well.

Kind of a bittersweet summer for me and the other moms from his class, we watched our last game together last week. Now we will just have to go watch our boys at their respective colleges.

OH, BTW, 15U team has only lost one game (St Elizabeth) and they are playing well. I'm so proud of both boys.

We have played St. Elizabeth alot, they are a quality team with a quality coach. Congrats on the great season. Cory has been umpiring all summer. He has earned a large amount of respect from and for the men in blue. We have 2 more tournaments, the Show Me Games and one other world series type of tournament. It has been a fun summer, but I hate to see it end. Cory reports to school on August 15th.
