Thank you for posting about Mary Ann today. I miss her a lot, too. She would have posted something heartwarming for all of us today, and made us smile. She would have made the day more special for everyone with her kindness and humor.
We miss you, Mary Ann.

There's so many things that remind you of somebody who's gone.
ST is coming up, and her annual decision about when to go. There was both a link recently to a MA thread, and a re-opened one that she had posted on, and holidays.
It's interesting that you post about Mary Ann now, as just a few days ago, I was going through some of my old private messages, cleaning up my inbox and came across one from her. She and I were chatting about her son AJ, as one of my close friends is a coach on the Diamonbacks, and I was telling her how highly this guy thought of AJ, and we were going back and forth about his experience in the D'backs organization.
I almost deleted that thread of messages, but gave it a moment's thought and decided to leave it on my inventory of PMs. It was just a way to remember a fine lady that I enjoyed here on HSBBW. I imagine it'll probably always be on my list of PMs.

As I opened up the "Senior Year" post, my thoughts were of Mary Ann's great advice she gave me when my son was a freshman on the varsity. Now four years later, I'm knowing she would be giving me great advice on making it a memorable season.

With baseball season starting at the HighSchool, I have so many things I want to share with Mary Ann. Not to mention Easter this weekend. I really am missing her today.
"Sure they get the hits, make the outs, score the runs, strike em out and get the glory!" "But who drove?"

Mary Ann is so missed on this whole website. I hope and pray that a little AJ (boy or girl) is in God's plan soon.

Pardon the intrusion.....yet I too, was searching for a response I had made a few years ago and stumbled upon a post of mine that she had responded to...I was always taken by her determination and faith....and miss her to this day...

I think about Mary Ann too. On facebook, her name pops up to add as a "friend" where it is pulling from my email addresses I suppose. I always have to pause and think about Mary Ann for a moment. Wouldn't she be happy for posters who were touched by the draft today. I think about AJ and her family often and hope they're ok without their Mary Ann.

Another webster had shared that link with me and I've been following AJ and Katie. While I always feel a bit stalkerish in reading someone's blog, you assume that they are willing to share or they wouldn't be blogging. It's such a great way to keep up with friends & family and their friends as well. I've enjoyed knowing they're doing ok and I think Mary Ann would like it too!!
