OK....its not baseball, but it definately appropriate for the ladies forum!

I'm the luckiest gal on earth. Got to see the Garth Brooks concert this week in KC. He was amazing, as was Trisha Yearwood (his opening act). I sat in a suite and had the TIME OF MY LIFE!

Garth is a baseball guy who has worked out with the Royals, so maybe this is baseball related?

Just a wholesome, entertaining, magical kind of concert! I can't believe he can maintain the energy for 9 shows. KC is lucky to be experiencing this event!

I am sooo jealous. My husband, in his before-Kmom life, saw Garth in concert 4 times and I have yet to see him once! <sigh> One of these days he'll come out of retirement and it'll be my turn to go to a concert.

Several years ago when Garth was just starting out my husband and I saw him at Texas Stadium in Irving. When they played The Thunder Rolls they made it rain inside the stadium, we were close enough that we got wet. When they played Standing Outside the Fire they actually had fire on the stage. It was definitely an awesome concert. It is probably one of the best concerts we have attended (minus Chris Ledoux - my favorite singer of all time).

I would love to attend another of his concerts for sure.
