As I think about all the recent needs we have read on HSBBW, for our members as well as close family and friends and in some cases, entire communities, I was thinking of starting a list that we could follow. I would be willing to monitor it and I could edit my original post such that the list is updated on a regular basis ... we would still have the specific information about the individuals on the members' posts, but we could capsulize it at the begining of the thread. And peraps we could have it pasted to the top of the forum list if Julie thought it was okay.

Your thoughts?

Sounds good to me. Lord knows we could use a few prayers.....There is certainly PLENTY to pray for these days....Why does the song "It's the end of the world as we know it" keep running through my head?

Okay, I think I will just go ahead and get a thread started. Will work on format, etc. Meantime, who has some items for the list? We have one ... son's father-in-law diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer last week. Doing well but needs lots of prayer support as they await meeting with oncologist and make plans for chemo.

Prayers for my brother who lost his wife of 40 years to breast cancer last fall. He is a farmer and lives in that big house alone now. Very lonely. She was a first grade teacher that everyone requested because she was so good! Thank you!

Okay ... I have started the thread and it is in primitive form. Julie (a k a MN-Mom) is trying to see if there is some way I can do a chart to make it easier to read. Otherwise, we will just go for the simple form.

Please add prayer requests to that thread and I will incorporate the information into the original post at the top of the thread.

FBM-Thanks so much for starting this thread. There really is nothing like the power of prayer.
