I hesitate to start this thread, but I thought it was funny.
According to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, while both male and female reindeer grow antlers in the summer each year, male reindeer drop their antlers at the beginning of winter, usually late November to mid-December. Female reindeer retain their antlers till after they give birth in the spring.
Therefore, according to every historical rendition depicting Santa's reindeer, every single one of them, from Rudolph to Blitzen- had to be a girl.
We should've known. Only women, while pregnant, would be able to drag a fat man in a red velvet suit all around the world in one night and not get lost.

A friend of mine sent me this in an email...I read it to my husband but he didn't seem as amused by it as I did...can't understand why. I had the same reaction that H-mom had.

We all know Santa is a myth ... but as for the women vs men geographical direction challenge ... we know that is not a myth (ergo ... that is Latin for therefore ... the new commercials for personal GPS systems for hubby's Christmas gift)

Just got this email and thought you ladies would enjoy it.
Do you know what would have happened if there had been Three Wise Women instead of Three Wise Men? They would have asked directions, Arrived on time, Helped deliver the baby, Cleaned the stable, Made a casserole, Brought practical gifts and There would be Peace On Earth.
