I know snow is not a big deal to most of you but it had been 20 years since we had snow. My boys are having a blast.

I can speak for most of use who usually get the white stuff - feel free to keep it as often as you want.

It must be fun once in a great while. Step-daughter in Houston TX is reporting enjoying a little snow too.

"We have just about seen it all this year"

I know we have just about seen it all; two hurricanes and snow in 3 months.

Yes, I know all too well! I worked the Ike recovery the last 3 months, traveling from Dallas with truckloads of store donations to provide basic neccessities...
Son evacuated for Gustav, but wound up in Port O'Conner, Tx, deep sea fishing! Posted a pic of the beautiful 40 lb. Pompano he landed. He had a great time during Hurricane Gustav! angryrazz
Then, Sept. 12, daughter evacuated for Ike. She came home for a week, until Texas A&M decided "how, when, where" to resume classes. Mayor of Galveston denied access to the island for several weeks, so my daughters flooded apt. was a real "health hazard" when we were allowed back to literally salvage & throw out...Galveston was devastated & stunk to high heaven! It still does!
Aggies take care of Aggies...the school picked up the tab for 1700 students to relocate to College Station, Alumni Club contributed over $200,000 to students for immediate needs (like something to wear, a bed to sleep on, books lost in the storm...all manner of things. Aggie Mom's Clubs helped with homes, bedding, household items, clothing....everything!

And, from Tulane, a few pictures...Enjoy!
