In my real job I am a Web developer for General Mills, which owns Yoplait, a supporter of breast cancer awareness all year. But this year for Breast Cancer Awareness month, we published a mini-site encouraging all women to Take the Pledge to do all the things we KNOW we should be doing (self-exam, mammograms, etc.).
My mom is a two-time breast cancer survivor, so working on these pages was a labor of love. You can Take the Pledge yourself, and also use the "Tell a Friend" page to remind other women you care about to take the pledge and take care of themselves. The goal is to get one million women to take the pledge and possibly save some of their lives.

P.S. Next week the counter will be updating automatically from the database. It just launched today, and so far only has the initial count of those of us who took the pledge during testing.
