A question was posted in the General Forum regarding MRSA and equipment sharing - in particular, helmets. Are any of your high school teams addressing this issue? Any one know anything about ways to treat equipment that has to be shared to avoid passing infections? Aaaackkkk... one more thing to worry about! My husband has a chronic illness, so we've been made very aware of MRSA in the hospital/clinic setting, just never considered our son and possible exposure through sports.
